Primers

Ultra-bond primers can provide many benefits including proper bonding to the primary substrate, asphalt bleed blocking, moisture drive blocking, rust inhabiting, or enhance solar gain on colder substrates. Applying Ultra-Bond primer can improve spray foam performance over a wide range of temperatures and roof deck conditions.

Ultra-Bond primers may be used on virtually any substrate to improve adhesion of foam or coatings and, in some cases, to seal the substrate as an additional benefit. Surfaces that require primer include structural concrete, block masonry, gypsum protection board, existing spray foam, galvanized or ferrous metal, BUR, plywood, roofing coatings and single-ply membranes.
