Roof Spray Foam

Ultra-Thane 230 is a closed-cell, spray polyurethane foam roofing designed as insulation and weatherproofing system for low slope, pitched, and barrel configured roofs. Ultra-Thane 230 is 2.5 pcf, 2.7 pcf, or 3.0 pcf exterior, spray foam used for new roof, recover, and maintenance & repair solutions. Our roof foams are manufactured in either low GWP HFO or traditional HFC-245fa technology with best-in-class R-Value performance. Ultra-Thane 230 spray foam with appropriate roof coatings may be installed as a monolithic barrier against water, air, and moisture vapor instrusion over commercial, industrial, institutional, cold storage, and residential roofs.

Ultra-Thane 230 is a plural component, roof foam that provides a seamless, fully adhered, and self-flashing around penetrations, over joints, encloses fasteners and builds cants away from verticals. Our roof foam is a field applied, monolithic membrane, which allows the applicator to build positive slope, enhance drainage and eliminate ponding. Ultra-Thane 230 can be installed over primed metal, BUR, structural concrete, plywood / OSB, densdeck, polyiso, existing spray foam, and many fully adhered & primed membranes.

Ultra-Thane 230 meets Underwriters Laboratory (UL 790) fire classification and under Intertek (CCRR) code compliant, research report for Class A (non-combustible) and Class B (combustible) coated roof system with various slope, deck type, protection board, and coating system approvals. Ultra-Thane 230 is compliant with ASTM C-1029, Florida Building Code, Texas Dept of Insurance, SCAQMD, and California CEC when using our Ultra-Flex, Ultra-Guard, Ultra-Shield, or Ultra-Tuff roof coatings. GCMC warranted coated foam roof systems are available for 10 year, 15 year, and 20 year performance on fully compliant roofs using approved applicators.
